Richard L. Jones, Jr. Airport (RVS) serves as the reliever airport for Tulsa International. RVS, a 700-acre facility, is located in southwest Tulsa and is home to 350 employees, generating an economic output of $36.5 million to the Tulsa area. 

Aircraft operations (takeoffs/landings) totaled 335,826 in 2008, making RVS the busiest airport in the state and fifth busiest general aviation airport in the nation. Six flight schools along with nearly 500 based aircraft contribute to this high level of operations.

Two full service FBO’s operate at RVS:

  • Christiansen Aviation - Christiansen Jet Center is South Tulsa's Premier FBO. Serving Jones Riverside since 1972.  Christiansen provides flight training, maintenance, aircraft leasing, aircraft sales and a full service FBO.
  • Roadhouse Aviation - Roadhouse Aviation is a full service FBO, providing a wide range of services for all types of aircraft, from small private aircraft to large business jets.
